Growing up I never thought that I would one day be mixing hair products and being part of a Movement that encourages curly women and men to embrace their hair kinks and all . Its afforded me the opportunity to find a solution for my kids, parents, friends and all those who need a product that is made with love and care.

There are so many products that are available, but for our clients to continuously choose our Brand, that is the most humbling of all. We plan to grow from Strength to Strength and our Strategy is Simple.

WHAT IS OUR STORY?

The Founder of The Moisture Factory started mixing products in her kitchen when she was struggling to find products for her and her two daughters. When she realised that there was more to hair products than mixing certain products, she engaged the services of Johann Kriel, and she got more than she could have ever hoped for.

The Rest, as they say, is history.

The Moisture Factory is wholly female owned and it provides employment to four females and two males. Our Range has a PH of 5.5, Our Products are Sulphate & Paraben Free and we currently have 9 products. Our Curl Range was formulated under the guidance of Johann Kriel, a Chemist that helped start Jabu Stone and Black like me. The products went through a 6-month testing phase after which they were introduced to the market in October 2016.

Our mission is to cater to people with Dry hair, Breaking Hair and those who just want to have healthy hair. We have received Great Testimonials from those that have tried out our products and this is what has helped our Brand grow. The idea behind The Moisture Factory was to create a Range of products safe enough for the whole family, this meant understanding what our clients needed the most.

When will I be charged?

When checking out, your card will be charged at the time you confirm your order. If you choose to do an EFT, please send us proof of payment in order that we can initiate delivery.

Can I change my order once it is placed?

Once your order is placed, we are unable to accommodate order changes or address corrections. Please review your shipping information carefully before finalizing your order. We are not responsible for incorrectly submitted addresses in orders.

When can I expect my order to arrive?

Orders are processed within 1-3 business days; however, keep in mind that orders placed during peak shipping periods such as the first day of each month, promotional events, and holidays, may take an additional 1-2 business days to process due to the high volume of orders. We will do our best to fulfill your order as quickly as possible
All our products can be returned within 14 days of purchase provided the product is un-used and or / has not be opened. Only once it is received in good order will a refund be issued.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, direct bank transfer, PayPal and Snapscan. We do not accept personal checks, money orders, or international credit cards. We are currently unable to process any credit cards that are billed to an address outside South Africa.
